Allison's POV
I could only eavesdrop on Shawn's side of the call because he was too far away to hear the person on the other end of the line, but I knew it had to be Mason's mother.
"Yeah, it's me," Shawn said, pausing to listen.
"Yeah, I got her," he paused again.
"Yeah, she wrote it," he sounded more annoyed than before.
"Just a minute…," Shawn pushed a button on the phone and set it on the table in front of me. Then, he sat down next to me. "K, she's on."
