A shiver ran down her spine. Marcus always had a way of making her skin crawl. "Why do you look so shocked?" he continued, his voice dripping with mockery. "Are you wondering how I found you?"
Amelia remained silent, her gaze locked on him as she tried to think of her next move.
He took a step forward, closing the distance between them. "I've had to put up with your rotten character for five whole years. Of course, I would be able to track your scent."
"What do you want?" She finally spoke, her voice laced with trepidation.
