China's P.O.V My heart pounded with urgency, resounding in my ears as I heard the rush of blood coursing through my body. I fought the urge to take it all back and to give in to the want and need, but my mind was made up. I steadied myself and focused on the task at hand. Trudging down the murky path of the cells, my senses overflowed with the metallic stench of blood, and the pungent smell of mold. The atmosphere was stale and dry, with only the open door providing a light stream of fresh air. The slow drip of leaking water, the clicking of our footsteps, and the rattling of chains echoed off the cement walls. "China. Oh, China," he taunted me as we neared his cell. "Come out. Come out, where ever you are!" "Oh, that bastard is begging for my blades. This should be fun," Mom squealed.
