He didn’t deserve her to begin with. Yet who am I to question why the Moon Goddess did what she did. I know she has her reasons but at the cost of my sister’s heart? Hopefully, she heals from this pain and she finds her real happiness.

China and Donald have been together since they were 13 years old. Once they turned 17, they found that they were fated mates, after Donald returned from Alpha training. Our parents are best friends, but unlike most families, they didn’t think that China and Donald were meant to be together. They wanted the two to reject each other the moment they found out, but China and Donald refused. They were so "in love" and they wanted our parents to accept them. As if that would ever happen. Everyone waited to watch this crumble. Don’t get me wrong, we never wanted to be against their relationship, it's just that Donald wasn’t as loyal as my sister believed. No matter how many times we tried to tell her she still stayed. Even with the pains, she felt whenever he cheated with other she-wolves. Pearl, her wolf even tried to convince her to reject him. I mean isn't that a sign to leave. Especially when he was found with one particular she-wolf, Jasmine.

“Ugh yeah, yeah, yeah this is touching and all, but my mate and I want this... wretched thing off our pack lands.” says the slut bag herself. I don’t understand how he could want... Her. I meant she’s not ugly but she’s not that cute either. Plus, just about every wolf has had her. Man, woman, rogue.

“Me? You mean me?!” China screeched. Oh my, all women and children get to safety. All hell is breaking loose. I waited for the fight to begin, but nothing happened. As I looked at my sister confusion hit me. Realization sets in she's oblivious to anything. Yet, I don’t know why I was ever confused. She never addressed Jasmine before. You would think that she was invisible.

“Yes, China. We want you to be our Alpha.” Ray spoke. “We pledge our allegiance to you. If you will have us.”

“Yes, sister. We are loyal to you as you have been loyal to us.” I gave her a sincere smile. “We will be honored to have you as our Alpha.”

“I-I-I... I don’t know what to say." she stammered.

“We want you.”

“Please accept us”

“Yeah, be our Alpha”

I grabbed her gently and held her into my chest. “So, what do you say?”

“Of course. I'd love nothing more than to be your Alpha.” she croaked out.

We walk into the forest until we reach the Eastern border. Turning back to take one last look at the place we have called home, bidding our final good riddance. I turn and smile at my sister. Giving a knowing and reassuring look that everything will work out in the end.

“I, China Ann Rowland, accept your rejection, Donald Jamerson III, as your Luna and your mate.”

“I, Adrian Oliver Rowland, reject all ties and renounce my title as Beta of the Midnight Blue Moon Pack.”

“I, Raymond Eric Ward, reject all ties and renounce my title as Delta of the Midnight Blue Moon Pack.”

A blood turning howl rings through the air. I grin knowing that this will at least weaken him for the night. Losing over 60 wolves at once can be overwhelming. Guess it was best I severed my pack bond first. I look back to China and nudge her forward. I frown taunting her face.

"Penny for your thoughts?" I inquired.

“Where are we going to live? How will I protect this pack? I-I don’t precisely know w-where we are going or what we are going to do to provide for all of these wolves.” China stammered.

“Don’t worry Alpha.” Ray dragged out. “I have already contacted Alpha James of Blood Moon Pack and informed him that we will be traveling to the land east of his territory.”

“Wait that land belonged to Midnight Blue before we... I mean before they moved” she stood shocked. “How can we go to that land it's still theirs.”

“Actually sister, it's yours now!” she stared at me with confusion and shock, as I explained. “Former Alpha Donald and Luna Lola Marie signed that land to you when they found out you and Alpha Donald were mates. They were wary that something like this would happen, so they took precautions.”

“How could they? I didn’t even think that my mate would ever r-reject me after so many years,” she whispered.

"I don't know." I lied. "We will just have to inquire with them once we have settled."

‘We can’t tell her why our parents or the Jamerson’s did this’ my wolf Antonio stated.

‘I know. She will find out in due time. First, we have to prepare her for what’s to come.’

‘We all must prepare. He will never touch her again.’ he growled.
