As I walked out of the registrar’s office three day later, I walked out with my certificate and a bright smile. An optimistic sign for the next step. She was not a difficult woman. The processes were swift and straightforward. I boarded a taxi as I went through my account balance, I was running short of zeroes and it bothered me.
