Gerald took my phone with a fishy smile and nodded his head sideways. “Ma’am, this is the time when you strike your pose”. I crossed my legs and posed with the class of sparkling wine. Gerald kept giving me thumbs up as a sign to change poses. After a few poses, he handed me my phone. I scrolled through the photos and I was barely satisfied. Gerald was more of a bully than he was with pictures. “What’s that face?”, he asked, sipping wine. I rolled my eyes and ignored him till I deleted the pictures I wasn’t satisfied with. “You are rusty, we need to work on your picture skills too”. I spat without remorse. “Come on!! You don’t expect me to take photography lessons”, he protested seriously. We got to our hotel and my mouth fell open subconsciously. It was a magnificent building. K
