We spent hours chatting and holding hands till it was past 11pm. He adjusted our seats and gently let go of my hand. The roof closed and he started the engine. “Let’s drop you home, beauty. You look like you could fall asleep anytime soon”. He wasn’t wrong, I was getting too comfortable and I was ready to lunch. As we drove back, the car became unusually quiet. I kept looking outside the window and he concentrated fully on the road. “What’s your Sunday like? Do you attend church?”.
