Awkward!
The air between us took an awkward turn as we lay beside each other, moving occasionally in our space. I wasn't sure where the serenity of trusting Ares came into my mind but indeed, my heart instinctively believed the fact that he wouldn't hurt me in any way. At least, we both were clear-headed now.
After a while of breathing in this thick silence, I rolled over the bed, turning to face the other side. But my timing was bad. As soon as I turned trying to fit into my shared space uncomfortably, Ares was doing the same.
