Mistaken

Chapter 2.

One word.Hatred.There was hatred all around me.Towards whom or what you may ask? Me. Everyone, including the teachers seem to hate me. After 3 more classes, I was able to convince myself that each and every staff of the school hated me. I didn't mean to be a bad student. Only if certain people didn't provoke me into committing to some payback. There should be a law against provoking people. Isn't there one? If not, there totally should be one. Apparently, word got around that messed around with the chemicals in my chemistry class last year so all my classes are now Silvia-proof. The problem- my classes no longer require chemicals.

After a painful morning, lunch time finally arrived and I had all the time to explain Eva about all this menance -you know the hating and most important about this Beatrix.

"So,this new *hot* teacher thinks you are some chick called Beatrix?",Eva said emphasizing on the word hot.

"I know right, I don't understand this at all!", I replied.

"They must have been some kind of secret lovers. On a second thought, a teacher-student relationship? So cliche."

"You talking about cliche? That's a crime right there.", I rolled my eyes and said.

She asked," Even if that were true, what could have made her leave?"

"How am I supposed to know, Eva? He's the the one who is so sure that I am Beatrix.Maybe I should ask him only!He'll have to tell me. You know, since I am 'Beatrix' now and all",I said while chomping down my burger.

"Well then, don't get into any trouble okay?Anyways, what you thought about Aphrodite?"

"Freeze her.",I replied quickly.

"What the......."

"C'mon Eva. It's a genius idea. Just let's lead her into the canteen freezer and lock her for a good 10 minutes. It's definitely a tamer plan than what she pulled on me."

"That's harsh,even for you Silvia. I don't know how you are gonna do it but text me okay.",she said dumbfounded.

"Okay, now i better talk to mr. strange..oopps i mean Mr. Black now.I'll let you know how things go"

"Okay."

I made my way towards Mr. Black's room. I saw Aphrodite talking to him. I quickly hid behind the wall and tried to eavesdrop their conversation.

"How can you be so sure that she is Beatrix? I'm positive that is Silvia. Beatrix left as soon as you threatened to kill her after she threatened tell tell everyone about you if you didn't let her leave you! This doesn't make sense. Do they look exactly alike? Yes they do. Do I think she is Beatrix? No, absolutely not.!",Aphrodite explained.

"Yeah! I see your point. It's just that she feels like she is Beatrix. She looked at me the exact same way as Beatrix would.It's just....It's just doesn't feel like a Beatrix thing to leave me like that!",Mr.Black replied.

"Well,believe it,sooner or later, she would have left you anyways",Aphrodite said haughtily.

*thwack*

I heard a slap and then silence.

"Why did you do that?",She yelled.

"Shut up! People can hear you. I'm sorry. You just made me mad by saying that."

Whatever, I'll talk to you when I get home tonight. Till then, fix yourself.",Aphrodite said.

"Fine.",He answered.

I couldn't help but wonder how Aphrodite knew Mr. Black. Nevertheless, I waited for Aphrodite to leave;As soon as she did leave, I went into his room and decided to act as Beatrix to get some solid answers. I tried remembering his first name on the schedule and commenced on talking to him.

"Okay,Logan.Now that the cat is out of the bag! You found me by luck. Really bad luck for me but good luck for you.",I forced a smile.

"So,it was you afterall. Did you have some secret twin or did you make a fake identity?",he countered.

What was he talking about? The possibility of me having a twin. I always thought I'd be an only child.

"What do I have to do to make you leave?", I asked him.

"Come with me."He answered quickly with a desperate tone.

"Oh! You know I can't do that after you threatened to kill me that day."

"What could I have done? You were going to ruin my career. You knew I I loved you and yet you still wanted to leave me." He sounded quite angry and might also burst in tears anytime now.

"If you loved me enough,you would've let me go. I can ruin your career in less than a second,even now.",I warned him. Wow, I mean, I was starting to convince myself that I was this Beatrix girl.

"Don't! Please. You can't. I won't do a thing. I swear!", He backed off. He looked scared .

"Well then, don't do anything you will regret.", I warned him and started walking away to my dear little victim who will soon be freezed.

That exchange of words with Mr. Black was very weird. I know a lot now. Beatrix and Logan had a teacher student relationship. She wanted out, but he threatened to kill her and apparently he loved her. Wow, this was a lot to take in. The fact that I could have a twin makes it so weirder!

I texted Eva.

Silvia>> "Tell Aphrodite that I have a surprise for her in the kitchen."

The plan was full-proof-I hope. I would trap Aphrodite in the freezer until she pukes out how she knew Logan!

"Why the hell did you want to meet me?", Aphrodite asked.

"How do you know Mr. Black?", I sternly asked her.

"Why would I tell you that? I'm not going to tell you.", she replied.

"I figured you'd be a hard nut to crack!" With that I grabbed her with her arm and had her in a headlock.Cheers defense class. I slowly made my way towards the freezer. Once there, I opened the door and pushed her inside the freezer and quickly closed the door and locked it from outside.

"So,your punishment is eternity or till whenever you want to speak up,okay."

After 5 minutes, Aphrodite stopped struggling to get out of the freezer. Guess she got tired.

She suddenly yelled,"Just get me out of here. I will tell you.". She was panicking so I let her out.

"Now tell me how you two know each other?", I questioned her.

"I don't know why you want to know!," she said quivering." He's my step-brother. My mom married during the summer and he was struggling with a job that was threatening him to ruin his career. During the summer, we got to know each other well. He says his lover Beatrix looks exactly like you but I think he's just crazy.Anyways, if you don't mind, I'll be leaving now to grab warm clothes.",She explained.

Amazing, I couldn't get this out of my mind that there is a person on the earth at this very minute who looks exactly like me.

"Wait!!! If you mention my little tactic to anyone, be sure to count your last days in this very freezer itself. I suggest you keep your mouth shut.", I was obviously, exaggerating.

"Whatever.",she replied.

I stood there thinking of my possibility of having a twin. If that is true, then why had mom given both of us up?Where could Beatrix be now? So many questions were going round my head.

I need to get a stronger grip about this matter!!!
