Olivia zipped her luggage after parking few things for her trip to Sweden. She gave everything that happened a thought, and concluded that if Axel leave, he can only return to Sweden, and it’s best she go to Sweden and start a new with him, since that’s where everything started. She went to the living room to bid goodbye to her mother, when she saw her father approaching them.
“Olivia, are you serious right now? Your wedding was postponed and now Asher just returned, you should be planning on how to fix another date, but the only thing on your mind is a vacation?” Mr. Wilson shouted.
“Oh, Is Asher back ?” she asked, feeling unconcerned, and her parents gave her a weird look.
“Did you two had a fight ?” Mrs. Wilson asked.
“No, I broke up with him,”
“What?” they both shouted.
“We had a fight concerning the wedding he postponed, so I broke up with him afterwards,”
“Can you listen to yourself right now? You broke up with a man you dated for two years!” Mr. Wilson shouted.
“Dad, it sounds hilarious coming from you. You also dated Chairman Langley’s wife for four years before you broke up, and married mum within six months of dating,” Olivia fired back, and Mr. Wilson started feeling awkward.
“Olivia, this is different, they were never engaged,” Mrs. Wilson said, and Mr. Wilson tried to compose himself.
“Mum, nothing is different, since Dad can breakup with a woman he dated for four years and found true love, I can do the same,” with that, she stormed out.
“Wait for me, Axel, I’ll prove to you that I always get whatever I want,” she muttered, and the driver drove off to the airport.

Lucas and Asher sat on the couch opposite Piper to listen to her stories.
“Actually, I don’t know where to start,” Piper said, and they both let out a sigh, because she had repeated same line for the third time in a roll.
“Piper, just start from the beginning, where you can remember. I can remember all my memories from when I was five,” Asher said, and Lucas looked at him.
“And how old are you now ?” Lucas asked.
“Why must I answer that?”
“Because obviously you don’t have much memories for you to still remember memories from decades ago,” Lucas teased.
“Hey, watch what you say, remember you are in my house!”
Piper watch the men argue and found herself smiling, she never imagined that she could make such real friends.
“Enough!” she snapped , and they both kept quiet immediately.
“Piper, just tell us the significant part that can help us step a plan,” Lucas said.
“Do you really have a stepmother ?” Asher asked.
“Yes, the woman Lucas mentioned is my step mother, but I never regard her as one. To me, she is nothing big freeloader at our house, that only bares the name,” Piper said.
“Can you elaborate?” Asher asked, already interested.
“My mother passed sway when I was five, and my father struggled with depression unable to move on from her. Teresa was his personal caregiver that attend to his needs. When I was sixteen, my grandfather suggested that it’s best for my father to move on with another woman, so he proposed that my father marry Teresa, with that he helped them register their marriage immediately, but nothing changed. My father was still the same until he commuted suicide a year after,”
“What?” the men shouted.
“He has been depressed for years, so everyone expected that.”
“While all these was happening, where were you?” Asher asked, wondering how she survived it all.
“Home, the same house with them. The house Lucas and I visited,”
“How did you managed to survive?” Asher asked.
“I had Maureen, she was my first nanny, hiring her was the best decision my grandfather ever made for me,”
“Did they get to the bottom of your father’s d£ath?” Lucas asked, because in a way it’s somewhat related to his uncle’s case.
“It was a clear suicide and no one could request investigation because my grandfather suffered from the shock right after and had stroke, while I was more reserved in my own space. During those period, she brought her son over, and started controlling the house until my grandfather recovered a year after “ she concluded.
“You didn’t say anything about the accident. What made you leave home the day you had that accident?” Lucas asked, and Piper looked at him.
“I don’t know, I can’t seem to remember that,”
“Something is certain here for sure, your accident might be plotted, that woman obviously wants to take over everything; that’s why she brought her son over, and in other to have it all, she has to get you out of the way,” Lucas said.
“Piper, you must’ve really had a tough time,” Asher said.
“Now is not the time for that, we have to come up with something that can help me wake up from coma, because I agree with Lucas suspicions, there must be a reason why I’m still in coma all these years,” she said, and they both nodded.

Mrs. Teresa entered her son’s room, and met him focused on the video game he was playing pissing her off, so she went to off the socket switch. He got angry and removed his headset.
“What was that for?” he shouted, and she slapped him.
“Mum…” he cried.
“I told you we’re having dinner with your grandfather tonight, but here you’re engrossed in stupid games!” she shouted.
“That old man doesn’t like me, he never considered me as his grandchild, he prefer his half-de@d granddaughter to me, and the feeling is mutual. Stop forcing it Mum, blood is thicker than water!” he blurted.
“Have you ever made an effort?”
“Why should I? When he is not even interested in me.”
“I’m seizing all your video games, and you are grounded till further notice!”
“Mum!” he shouted.
“You have ten minutes to get dressed,” having said that, she took the exit.

Mrs. Teresa and her son sat in the huge dinning hall waiting for Chairman Whitney.
“Mum, I doubt if this old man is willing to have dinner with us, we’ve been waiting for almost an hour,”
“Be quiet, he is almost here,” Mrs. Teresa said and the Chairman was wheeled over.
Mother and son stood up, to greet him as he approached the table.
“Father, how have you been ?” Mrs. Teresa asked, and assisted him to seat.
“Isn’t that an obvious question?” the Chairman asked back, and Mrs. Teresa managed to smile.
.
Chairman Whitney is known for his cold demeanor, but she managed to win his trust years ago before everything changed after his granddaughter’s accident.
.
“Good evening, sir,” George greeted, and his mother smiled.
“Father, I assisted the chefs in preparing your favorite dinner,”
“You should’ve just allowed them do their job, they are professional chefs,” he said, and Mrs. Teresa forced a smile.
“Grandpa, I was given an assignment at school to write about my role model, can I hold a little interview with you?” George said.
“Oh, really? Father is your role model?”
“Yes, Mum. Grandpa is my motivation,”
“Rather, did you heard that?”
“I’m not deaf. George, the internet has made everything easier, you can find everything about me on Wikipedia,” he said, and their jaw dropped. “What’s taking the food so long?!” he shouted, and the chefs approached them with their dinner.
“Father, the hospital sent for a specialized doctor from India to check on Cassie, the Doctor will arrive this week,” Mrs. Teresa said.
“What’s the point? She is in coma. I’ll leave first, enjoy your dinner,” he said, and slip from his glass of water.
Mrs Teresa and her son let out a heavy sigh as they watch the chairman retreating back.
“I told you, Mum, we can never win that old man over,” George said, and left the table.
Mrs. Teresa hit the table vigorously, and let out a loud roar.

A maid served Asher his dinner in his room, and gave him a weird look before leaving. She is obviously wondering why he chooses to eat in his room. It was his first time to make such request.
“Enjoy your meal, sir,” she said, and bowed before leaving.
“Piper, do you care for dinner?” he asked, and she nodded.
“I always wonder how you have appetite when you’re a ghost,” Asher said.
“We don’t have appetite, we don’t get hungry, the food we eat does nothing to us, we just do things we love to do,” Lucas replied.
“Oh, no wonder Piper eats so much,” he teased, and looked at Piper who was enjoying her meal.
“Won’t you offer me dinner ?” Lucas asked.
“Why should I? You said ghosts have no appetite,” Asher teased.
“What of Piper?”
“She is special,” Asher said, and Piper looked at him.
“Special? In what way?” Lucas asked, and Asher instantly realized what he said.
“Errmm… She is special because she is in coma, she is not completely d£ad!” he lashed.
“Why’re you getting angry?” Lucas asked, and Asher excused himself to the bathroom.
“What’s wrong with him?” Lucas murmured, looking at Piper who seems to be enjoying her meal.
