I open my eyes. Tre is sitting on the bed. Kane is on a chair.
"Good morning baby."
I stretch as far as I can. I stretch my 10 fingers. They are all there and better.
Kane stands up. "1 day. Castle still standing. I'll get the doctor."
"Did you figure out where it went?"
"No baby we didn't. We sent some exploding stuff through and Omar sealed it. We have no idea where it went. But that place is not standing anymore."
I cuddle with him. "I love you."
"I love you too, baby."
"How are you feeling, Nadine?"
"I feel fine."
"You had to regrow the hand. Nothing else was wrong and the sword was clean. No issues, I need to check it." Cruor checks my hand then lets me go.
Tre helps me up. "Let's get you a bath. Then we can catch you up."
An hour later, I'm clean and in the morning room.
