Gabriel felt his eyes fill with tears. If Anne didn’t believe him after seeing his wings, she would never believe him.
“Gabriel! Have you lost your mind?” Raziel stormed up to Gabriel. “You released your wings out in plain sight for everyone to see! You know that is against the angel’s commandments!”
Gabriel swallowed. He knew releasing his wings was unacceptable and God would have words with him in the near future, but his accidental stunt may be the reason Anne will start to believe in angels, and that in itself is worth it.
