My vision blurred and adjusted as we walked through a dark tunnel that seemed darker with each step. I let my thoughts flow through my mind as we walked, and suddenly found myself separated from Gabriel and the other angels. I started to panic. "It will be okay. They couldn't have gone far," I told myself as I sucked in a deep breath. Gabriel would never lose sight of me. He had to be looking for me right now.  A bright light caught my attention up ahead. I ran towards it. A light that bright had to be the angels. The soot crunched under my boots as I ran. The closer I got, the dimmer the light seemed.  I walked slowly, dragging my boots against the soot. I bit my lip in fear the light may not be the angels after all.
