ALISA'S POV;
Lia had just turned three months when I had gone in search of Austin. I needed his help after the intrusion at my workplace and the clear indication Montero was behind it. I had run from Montero for a year and a half now. And just when I thought it was good he comes in search of me at the diner where I worked and ends up killing Rico because he wouldn't tell him where I was. Austin had worked for him so he knew Montero's ways and tactics so he would be my only chance against him.
"Hi"
"Hi"
"You look incredible Lisa. Haven't changed a bit."
"Yeah, thanks"
"How are you and the baby holding up? "
"We good,but he found us Austin. He's here in town. Killed a workmate yesterday"
"How did he find you? That's not even crucial we need to get both of you outta here. Got your bags?"
"Yeah in the car"
"Let's go then"
He took us out of town and made arrangements, got us a house and me a job. He was everything but amazing,the only thing he did was not ask for anything in return. Once he did ask me to marry him and I was gonna say yes but I didn't want Lia growing up without her father. It had hurt him and he was broken . It was then that I decided to leave and move to where we lived now. It had been two years ago and I couldn't believe he was here now
