Matt half-smiled after he saw what was before him. His eyes thinned while the room service expressed himself with an air of excitement.
“This is your lovely room. Enjoy your stay.” After saying that, he moved out of the room.
I gently stepped into the room, taking note of each step I took. My eyes accelerated gently, running around the room to see if there was an extra bed.
Unfortunately, the room had only one big bed and it was big enough to contain the both of us. On the floor was a cushioned chair that is also big enough to fit the length of a human being.
This was when it dawned on me as a reality that the chair on the ground was where Matt will make use of throughout the trip. And if he declines, I will gladly make use of the bed.
