I had agreed not to bring up any talk about Damien but that didn't mean that he had left my mind for even a second.
I still felt bad for deceiving him. I mean it was entirely deceit. I just told him the truth and left out some parts. Nonetheless, thinking there didn't make me feel any better.
What was worse was the fact that I had left him to deal with his family alone. Especially Catherine. He would have to deal with her as well.

I sighed. “What is the matter?”
I must have dozed off again. We were riding to a beach. Matt has only informed me that there was going to be a shoot.
“Who are you thinking about?”
I sighed. He wouldn't understand my predicament but having someone to talk to wasn't a bad idea.
