POV: Maddie We had finally arrived in Chicago; the name alone already carries weight. As the car glided through the streets, I felt as if something was calling me there—a great, intense force that I couldn't describe. I observed the city that seemed to have come out of a movie. Imposing buildings, lights flashing in all directions—a mix of modernity and history. But, even with all its grandeur, I knew that it wasn't there that we would find the answers we were looking for.
