Maddie POV
The night was perfect. Derek and I were at the hotel, enjoying our time together, laughing like the outside world didn't exist. He always made me laugh, even in the most unexpected moments. After a passionate encounter, we decided to relax in the huge bathtub in our room. It should be a moment of tranquility, but with Derek, everything turned into a comical adventure.
"Did you know that bathtubs are the perfect place to tell water jokes?" Derek asked, splashing water in my direction as I tried to recover from my laughter.
"If you continue like this, we're going to flood the entire room!" I replied, trying to remain serious but failing miserably.
