Chapter Fourteen A Sudden Shift Iarion rubbed at his gritty eyes and stifled a yawn. He was exhausted. Barlo was in similar condition, stumbling along beside him. They had been traveling hard for days. He caught the scent of water and the earthy whiff of cattle. He pushed his tired legs forward and tried to ignore the weight of the bundle on his shoulder.
