CHAPTER 39.5: Dream (Romina's Point of View)

706 Words
WHERE HAVE I BEEN? WHAT AM I DOING? WHERE AM I? What's happening... what's going on? Because of the brilliant brightness around me, I cautiously opened my eyes and squinted. I finally spotted the place when I was able to adjust my vision. This is the location I've been dreaming of for the past few days. Is this the fourth time? Or the fifth? I've lost track of how many times I've visited the location in my dreams. "What brings me back here?" I'm not sure. I was stumped when it came to answering my own question. "Wait for me! Hey!" When I heard a familiar voice, I turned around. I saw a younger version of someone I knew there. Somebody I know... “Luciel…?" When I saw the kid that looked exactly like Luciel, I couldn't help but be concerned. The only difference is that the child's hair is as white as the driven snow, and his eyes are as blue as the ocean. In my perspective, he was attractive beautiful, even. He appeared to be having a great time with his four companions—two lads and a girl. The other kid resembled him identically, with the exception that the other kid is blonde. They appeared to be having a great time while playing. I could tell they were playing a game called 'Tag, You're It.' They became adults as soon as they emerged from the clouds. They just appeared to be having a great time while still playing. And I'm simply standing there watching them from afar. I'm not sure if it's because he's been with me for months or because this is the first time I've seen Luciel smile like this—so pure, innocent, and full of joy that it made my heart skip a beat. This is the first time, and this is such a special moment for me that I couldn't help but stare at him and his smile. But, at the same time, I want I could make him smile like that... I also want to be the reason for his smile. “Serenity!” When the girl who was strolling side by side with Luciel suddenly turned her attention to me, my eyes widened and I involuntarily gasped. I find it strange that she's smiling in my way, and I've turned around to avoid her gaze, assuming she's staring at me. But there's no one behind me. She's actually staring at me. I moved my head towards her as quickly as I could. I could feel myself slipping away from where I was standing. I had an internal panic attack when I realized I had been standing on my clothing the entire time and now I was falling from the sky. FROM. THE. SKY. I was scared. Of course, I am. But somehow, I couldn’t feel the fear. It felt like peace that I couldn’t help but close my eyes. I just felt sleepy, drowsy. Is it possible in a dream to feel like this? “Romina…” I slightly frown when I heard someone calling me. I don’t know why but I felt like I was floating instead of falling. “Romina, open your eyes…” I once again frowned before opening my eyes. And there, I confirmed that I was indeed floating. And I am facing someone… more like, I am facing the woman who walked side by side with Luciel earlier. “Who… who are you?” I asked. She was wearing all white and she was floating in front of me. Even if the woman was illuminating bright lights around her, I could really tell that she was beautiful. And she’s awfully… awfully familiar. As if, my body knew her for so long that even my heart is beating fast for her. I find it weird yet I don’t actually find it scary. The woman didn’t respond to me. With a gentle, warm smile on her face, she gently cupped my cheek and suddenly, I felt something extraordinary that I never felt before. She was saying something… What-what are you trying to say? Tell me! Please, tell me! I want to know you more! To Simeon... to Sachiel... Who are you to Luciel?!
