“I didn’t know you’ll really come this far, Percival...” Gasping in silence, Percival looked at the figure that was slowly revealed by the bright light. “The archangel—” Before he could even finish his sentence, a sword was pointed at him. “You really did come this far hurting one of the temporary guardians and tried to kill a human.” Romina’s eyes widen as she saw the being that suddenly arrived in front of them. She gasped when she finally saw the face of the said angel. “Lu-Luciel... that, that angel looked exactly like Luciel.” “That angel... is none other than Luciel’s twin brother, Sachiel the archangel.” “Sachiel...” Luciel muttered while nursing his wound in his right arm. The archangel’s blue eyes darted at him and he softly smiled. “I’m not that late, aren’t I, my brother?” “Bro-Brother?!” confused, Romina couldn’t help but mutter as she looked at Luciel then at the angel who suddenly appeared in front of them. She looked at Luciel then to the angel who looked like him and vice versa. “Lu-Luciel has a brother?!” And his brother is an angel?! “Are you okay?” the angel who looked like Luciel, named Sachiel, asked. Luciel didn’t answer. He just coughed and immediately stood up, wincing from the injury he got from Percival. “My, my. After centuries, you finally reunited, the two of you… all thanks to me, right?” with a cocky smile flaunting his face, Percival said. “f**k off,” with gritted teeth, Luciel spat at him. “Percival, the angel of death,” Sachiel called his name in a serious voice. “You came in the human’s realm uninvited just to mess things up and steal their souls. I bet you already knew that it’s against the rules… especially killing humans.” Chuckling, Percival looked at him then his eyes settled on Luciel who was still glaring at him. His death-scythe was resting on his shoulder. “My, my. The fact that you saved your twin who abandoned everything, also violated the ordeal and became a fallen angel who also resented you. You still managed to save him—” “Shut the f**k up, you lowly angel!” “Yeah, yeah. It’s not like I’m interested in a fallen angel like you anyway.” I’m… I’m legit confused right now. Romina couldn’t help but comment. “Sachiel, are you already satisfied being an Archangel?” Percival asked the archangel. “Are you satisfied in that position in the Celestial Realm? You don’t deserve such low recognition. You deserved more, we deserved more power.” “That’s why you kill and steal human’s souls because you want to become god, is that it, Percival?” Sachiel asked him straightly. The angel of death smirked. “My hard work as the angel of death deserves more recognition, Sachiel. Of course, I deserved more… I deserved power as well. And to achieve that,” his eyes settled on Romina who’s now looking at them in utter surprise. “I need that human’s soul.” “L—” At a speed of light, Percival immediately went to Romina, making her gasp in shock when he suddenly appeared in front of her and immediately grab her neck. Romina didn’t manage to see how this guy managed to defeat L that the little demon, in the form of a Cerebrus, was pinned down by spears. Romina immediately felt that something was going out of her body but it was cut short when Percival suddenly let go of her then saw him getting thrown somewhere. Before her back could feel the cold ground, Luciel caught her. Due to reflexes, she immediately hugged Luciel on his neck as if her life depended on it. Albeit she felt weak, she managed to see Percival and Sachiel fight. Of course, being the stronger angel he is since he’s an Archangel, he managed to make Percival kneel to the ground. The angel of death coughed and winced and raised his head to Sachiel who’s now staring at him blankly while pointing his celestial sword onto him. “Percival, the angel of death. You violated the ordeal, killed and stole human souls, I’m arresting you and taking you to the judgment hall,” Sachiel told him. Head low, Percival gave them an eerie chuckle. “Catch me if you can, Archangel.” Before Sachiel could even throw his golden chains on him and seal him, Percival managed to give him a false spear attack and escaped into thin air. Looking up at the sky, Sachiel saw the angels under him arrive. “Sachiel!” “We’ll search him. I know he will not go that far since he’s injured,” he said. He turned his head to Luciel who was cupping Romina’s cheek and let her settle comfortably in his arms. “Is she okay?” “You dumb i***t,” Luciel said as he stood up, carrying the unconscious Romina in his arms. “He’s f*****g in front of you and you still let him escape! You could just kill him on the spot!” “I don’t have the authority to do so. I’m trying to take him to the judgment hall without harming him,” Sachiel responded. “Don’t expect me to accept that kind of reason. That angel is still after Romina so I will not just sit back or relax. I will not let him touch her so I will find him and destroy him with my own hands. I will not be going to hold back,” with gritted teeth, he said and walked away from the angel. “Luciel, just leave it to us. Now that we managed to find the culprit of all the killings happening in this realm, it’s our job to arrest that angel. Just focus on guarding the human and let us do the work. Don’t make your anger consume you,” Sachiel said, calmly. “Don’t make my anger consume me?” Luciel asked him, obviously imitating and mocking him. He, then, turned his head to Sachiel who’s looking at him in a calm gaze. “I’m a demon. Don’t expect me to do so.” “Brother—” the archangel was about to reach him but Luciel stopped him. “Don’t,” in a firm voice, Luciel told him. “An angel never calls a demon his brother.” With that, Luciel flapped his dark wings. “L, let’s go.” The little demon L nodded and as he clung to Luciel’s shoulder, Luciel flew away, leaving Sachiel with a slight hurt on his expression. “Frater…”
