I don't know what got into me to speak to Jillian like that. The words left my mouth as if on their own and by the time I realized their implications, it was too late.
The jealousy had reared its ugly head when I saw her talking so intimately to Logan and uncontrollable anger had taken over my senses. She appeared so hurt when I said those words. Even now that expression of hers tore at my chest.
I tried going after her, but she was nowhere I sight in all the nearby streets. Just where could she have gone in such a short time?
"You messed up big time, Callum." Henry said, clicking his tongue.
"Jillian was only trying to help us." Blake added solemnly. "If it weren't for her, we wouldn't have survived. You shouldn't have gotten angry at her."
