It’s been several days since I’ve been released from the hospital. After much argument with my father, he finally allowed me to return to school after three days. Jillian and Daniel had both gotten scarce since the incident at school. The other students said that it wasn’t strange for Daniel to disappear for several days, but what about Jillian? Her phone was still unreachable and none of the people who knew her had caught wind of her. I stared at her empty seat in front of me, my heart squeezing with longing.
