“She’s still not answering.” I said, staring intently at my phone.
“Maybe she cannot yet.” Henry commented. “Who knows where that Daniel could have taken her.”
“Rather, shouldn't you be heading to the principal’s office soon?” Blake added. “I heard that he asked both your father and Daniel’s to come here.”
“He can wait for some time.” I brooded. “I’ve been injured after all.”
“Daniel’s gonna get in deep trouble this time... and so will Jillian.” Henry said in a grave tone. “Let’s hope Jillian’s punishment won’t be too harsh. Daniel kinda forced her hand, after all.”
“I’ll try my best to convince them that she was only a victim in all this.” I said firmly. It was the truth, after all. I’m pretty sure Daniel forced her to go with him.
