I couldn’t take my eyes off her. She had such a serene expression on her face as she leaned against my shoulder, her eyes closed. It was an absolutely captivating sight… almost better than her smile. The wind blew a stand of hair onto her face and I carefully reached out to push it back.
Her stormy blue eyes peeled open to peer at me, her bright red lips stretching in a most alluring smile. I was captivated by the sight.
“Sorry, did I wake you?” I asked softly.
She shook her head. “I wasn’t sleeping.” Her smile widened as she continued. “This moment is too precious to waste it sleeping.”
Goddamnit this girl was going to give me a heart attack. Saying such cute stuff when I was already feeling overwhelmed by all the love bursting from my chest.
