Callum hardly spoke a word to me for the rest of the day. And he hardly even looked my way. Getting such a reaction after I made an effort to give him more time with his friends annoyed me and I was also back to giving him the cold shoulder treatment. But I missed having him shower all his attention on me.
My mood was morose as I trudged after him towards the place his friends have chosen to hang out. Kelly was right beside him… he'd stopped acting cold towards her, so at least this was a good development. No one could say I've been destroying their great friendship anymore. But every time Callum laughed at something she said or shared in her banters, my heart shattered a little more.
