Kelly didn't show up at our house again but a couple of days later, she started attending our school and was even assigned to the same class. Turned out that she was also familiar with Callum's friends and she took to hanging out with them most of the time. She even negotiated her seat so that she would be closer to Callum. But to his credit, Callum hasn't been paying her any mind, sometimes even avoiding her. However she still kept pestering him at every turn, and this annoyed me to no end.
"You seem… perturbed." Marisa said from beside me.
“Do I?” I mumbled dispassionately.
She followed my line of sight. “Is it because of Kelly? I can’t believe that girl’s guts.” She said angrily. “She knows Callum is dating you, yet she’s been repeatedly trying to approach him.”
