A soft afternoon breeze drifted by, carrying with it the melodious sounds of the forest. The songs of the birds, the distant sound of water flowing and the fresh smell of grass. It was all so soothing. Spending time in nature has always been what I enjoyed most. But now with Jillian by my side this moment felt even more precious. After our meal, we spent some enjoyable time just chatting and bantering. Then we simply lay back and silently enjoyed the forest air, with me leaning against a tree, my arm wrapped around her and her head resting on my shoulder.
