a young lady first," Debris jokes, moving forward
to get us together with Jack at his side."f**k you
all." I roll my shoulders back to attempt to
facilitate the strain sneaking in. "I'm fine."I don't

you."
Jack
limits
that
commander's look on me.Ash's eyes light up as he
inquires, "Did you, at last, ask out that airline
steward from Chicago? The one that you
connected with on the plane."No, and I didn't
attach with her on the plane." Utilizing two
fingers, I rub at my temple. I don't have any idea
why I have trouble addressing him. He knows
precisely the exact thing that occurred, yet the
folks generally prefer to bend the subtleties to
make it more scandalous.The issue with not
having as much show in that frame of mind as
your companions is that they hook on to each
easily overlooked detail. I have far fewer
over-the-top stories than they do, yet they recall
every single one of mine and whip them out eachtime an open door presents itself."I think his

agreement."I'm not as yet connecting with her.
She messaged. I didn't answer. End of story. Are
we going to play a few darts, or what?"No one
says another word regarding it, yet I feel tense.
Crissy is an error I made a long time back. She
was an understudy for the group — something I
didn't be aware of until we'd been connecting for
a long time. I thought it was innocuous
tomfoolery.
