BUILDING TENSION

Now it was twilight, and the attacking elves were advancing from town to town . Black Eagle ? still stood on top of the terrace, now more confused than ever. He was supposed to be in battle with his men as their general. It was definitely undisputable that the army of the Hugin empire under the leadership of Black Eagle was almost unstoppable. His communication with his men is one of the key contributor to their victory in many battles. Black Eagle was totally dumbfounded as he could not figure out the plan of the elves, what were they after ? Black Eagle who stood on top of the terrace in his black war suit , and oh yes, he was armed to the teeth . There were weapons almost everywhere you could imagine on his war suit . Ranging from short daggers , to small metal stings brushed with poisons of different kinds and a large double edged blade. Black Eagle felt uncomfortable not having any idea of what was going on. It was then when Dina , the royal maid of the palace now Wilson's caretaker approached from behind and said , " Sir , you called for me ". Black Eagle did not turn to face her but ordered, " Get the prince's belongings ready Incase of any departure from here". Dina nodded and left. Black Eagle was just worried, though Kai was acting in his place , Kai lacked that authoritative control over the army. Finally, Black Eagle descended the terrace back into the palace gathering hall. He could barely take his seat , things were just happening too fast. Finally, the person he was waiting to see arrived. Black Eagle walked out to meet him. Kai gently got off his horse . Kai was bleeding, his armor broken and a nasty sword cut on his left arm . He almost fell on his knees when the palace guards rushed to his help. When he made it back on his feet ,He said coughing, " Sir, ........ They outmatched us and they are on their way here". It was like the god of silence passed over them , there was complete silence.
