~3 months Later~

The day after I left Tati house I went home and told papa and the wicked witch he was disappointed but he said I could stay if I get a job.

"Tati I tried everywhere and all they say is they're going to call me it's been two months".I said rubbing my four-month belly.

"I mean you could come work at the club with me".She said shyly causing me to look at her crazy.

"I meant as a bartender ari you can barely tell your pregnant you look way older than what you actually are and you can just stay behind the bar no one will know".She said sitting up waiting for an answer.

"I don't know Tati".I said sounding unsure.

"I can get you an interview all you got to do is tell me".She said pulling out her phone.

I mean I do need the money and my dad said he's not paying for anything and I'm definitely not asking the witch for anything.

"Okay so when are you gonna set the interview".I asked sitting up and she gave me a small smile.

"Um it's in twenty minutes so let's go".She said dragging me outside to the car.

"What how did you even know if I was going to agree or not".I asked buckling my seatbelt as she drove off.

"Because my niece needs clothes, shoes, and s**t".She said making a right at the light.

"When we go in don't look him in the face he's just filling in for Muhammad while he's gone".She said looking over at me only to see that I was already looking at her.

"Omg Tati you not about to have me working at Muhammad's club".I asked throwing my head back. 

"What girl money is money and you need it just think about it like this the only reason you doing it is for the baby".She said turning into the parking lot.

"What if people at school find out that I work here".I asked getting out closing the door.

"And what they gone do get they ass beat by me".She asked causing us to laugh as we walked in.

"I would help but I'm carrying your god baby".I said following behind her looking around.

"When you gone find out the gender of my baby".She asked stopping in front of a door.

"You so impatient we will know when the baby's born".I said and she rolled her eyes playfully before knocking on the door.

"Come in".I heard a voice say as she twisted the knob she put her head down so I did the same.

"So wassup this the girl".I heard him say but I never looked up.

"Yea this my little sister Ari she's 20".She said grabbing my hand.

"Do a Lil spin for me".He said Tati let go of my hand as I turned around.

"You hired what days can you work".He asked.

"Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights with me".Tati said for me because honestly, I didn't know what days I wanted to be here.

"Ight y'all go get dressed boss man should be here in a couple hours".He said and we both turned around and walked out.

"Are you nervous about your first night on the job? ".She asked walking My to a dressing room full of other girls.

"Who is this new b***h walking up in here like she owning s**t". A girl said as we walked further into the room.

"f**k did you say, b***h".I said walking up on her till Tati grabbed my arm giving me I look.

"Yea keep that b***h in check".She said causing the other girls to laugh as they walked out.

"Girl don't worry about that BUM b***h she just runs her mouth".Tati said walking over to the clothes shuffling through them.

"She almost got her ass whooped by a Lil girl".I said rubbing my stomach out of habit.

"Here that'll look good on you and it ain't to tight for my baby".She said handing me the outfit.

"So what do you do here besides bartend".I asked undressing while she looked for something to wear.

"Girl I ain't bout that stripper life I'm just a bartender".She said causing us both to laugh.

"I thought you would be up there throwing that thang".I said doing a little twerk the best that I could with my little stomach.

"Girl boo I ain't that bold to be shaking my ass ain't nothing wrong with it, it just ain't for me".She said pulling out an outfit the same as mines.

"I second you on that one".I said putting on lipstick in front of the mirror.

"Plus niggas leave big tips at the bar so I ain't gotta do much but mix a drink".She said putting on her clothes.

"Ooo mama baby gone have a lot of stuff".I said smiling down at my stomach.

At first, I wasn't too sure about having the baby at my age but there's a lot of people out there that want to have babies and can't and that would be selfish of me to do that plus I wouldn't feel right giving my baby away.

"Ari Girl can you hear I been calling you for the last minute or so we got to clock in".She said walking out of the room with me behind her.

"Okay so type your name on the computer and put sign in and it gives you the choice to set your own pin to use when you clock on and clock off".She said and I watched as she typed her name and put in her pin and I did the same choosing the number 1518 and pressed sign In.

"Alright, so this is Hillary she's the other bartender that works with us since it's only three of us, oh and we'll have bottle girls that come and take the bottles out".She said as we walked behind the bar the Hillary girl smiled and waved before turning back to a customer.

"Alright, I'm finna show you how to mix these drinks and if anyone asks you have a liquor license".Tati said pulling out bottles and glasses.

After spending an hour showing me what to do we finally branched out from each other and I began to make drinks.

"Yo b***h let me get 2 Godfathers". Some man said sitting in front of me as I gave a customer his drink with a smile then turned to him.

"Yea b***h I got you".I said with a smile as I grabbed the Scotch whiskey and Amaretto pouring them into the glass.

"Ayo boss man in the building make sure you show him some love".The DJ said and everybody stopped what they were doing and Looked down as he walked by but he looked straight ahead walking to the back.

"Can I have my s**t or not".The man said cussing as the music started up again.

"Sure".I said slamming the drink in front of him as he looked at me crazy before putting the money on the bar and walking away.

"Hi what can I get for you". I said with a smile.

Walking into the club my DJ let it be known I was here and people It was exactly how I liked it.

"Yo the club jumping tonight".Abdul said looking around before we walked into my office where Duke sat.

"Wassup boss man we hired a new girl today".he said standing up slapping hands with me before sitting on the couch by Abdul.

"Damn nigga you work fast I still ain't meet the one you hired months ago".I said chuckling as he shrugged.

"You want me to go get em and bring them up". He asked waiting for an answer.

"Yes bring them up".I said leaning back as he walked out.

"So Cole found your mom's husband and Ben went to go pick him up also that nigga really gave you 15,000". He said shaking his head in disbelief.

"You thought s**t was a game".I said looking up from the paperwork on the desk just as Duke walked back in and you won't believe who was behind him.
