Chapter Nine

Placing my Wingstop bag in the passenger seat I call Abdul to see how his Lil date going.

"Yo wassup Cuzzo".He asked answering the phone on the third ring.

"How yo date going or are Y'all done with that".I said making a right at the light.

"s**t it was good wassup what you on". He asked.

"Not s**t on my way back to the hospital".I said cutting the music on and putting it on low.

"Oh, s**t that's crazy I'm at the hospital as we speak with Tati and f**k is you at the hospital for".He said doing a little chuckle.

"What's wrong with her and I bashed SuSu head into my window my s**t cracked".I said looking over at my window.

"You must be off the s**t crazy mother fucka but Nah Tati good it's the other one my Lil sis".He said laughing into the phone.

"Wassup with her".I asked pulling up into the parking lot grabbing my bag and phone getting out of the car.

"Matter a fact what floor you on and what's the room number".I asked walking past the nurse's station and to the elevator.

"4th-floor room 415".He said just as I got on the elevator.

"Ight I'll catch ya".I said hanging up and pressing 4 and the doors closed and the elevator started moving.

Once it stopped I walk off and look both ways seeing Abdul standing outside the room.

"Nigga why you standing outside".I asked slapping hands with him.

"They checking her p***y".He said just as the doctor walked out.

"It's cool if we go back in".He asked her and she nodded walking off.

Walking inside I see her and Tati talking but they stopped when they saw me.

"This nigga bold asf get out Abdul why you let him in here".Tati said standing up mugging me.

"I can't control that man".He said smacking his lips and sitting down and I did the same taking a seat by her bed before pulling out my food.

"Ariana you gone let this nigga stay in here".she asked folding her arms.

"He not gone listen to me anyway so what's the point".She said looking straight ahead at the tv.

"You damn right glad you know".I said bitting into my wing and that's when she finally looked over at me.

"Give me one".She said reaching over but I popped her hand.

"No this my food".I said finish my wing off before throwing it in the bag.

"Yo Cuzzo let me hold two of em".Abdul said walking over to me grabbing a plate before taking four.

"Nigga I should beat yo ass you said two".I said mugging him.

"What how come he gets some can I have one please".She asked pouting causing me to sigh.

"Man here damn I can't stand yo Lil ass".I said grabbing a plate and putting three on there with a little bit of fries.

"Ari you not even supposed to be eating anything".Tati said eating a wing off of Abdul plate.

"So my baby hungry right baby".She said rubbing her stomach as I stared at her.

"What are you looking at".She asked dipping her fries in my ranch.

"I'm about to beat that baby outta you".I said laughing as she stopped putting the fry in her mouth midway.

"Why it's good like that".She said stuffing them in her mouth.

"Yeah but I don't do that s**t next time pour it on your plate".I said picking up another wing.

"They would make a good ass couple".Abdul said causing everyone to look at him.

"What I'm just saying".He said shrugging knitting into the wing.

"Well don't say anything ".Ari said rolling her eyes.

"Yo, f**k is that what you trynna say".I asked and she just shook her head.

"Yeah, ight".I said finishing up the rest of my wings.

Right now Muhammad and Abdul are going back and forth about the game that was playing on tv while I and Tati Talked.

"You just got one more to go before the baby gets here". She said rubbing my stomach and I felt a sharp pain.

"Yeah and stop doing that".I said moving her hand but the pain didn't stop I now felt like I had to push.

"Go get the doctor".I said breathing heavily and she ran out of the room.

"Yo f**k wrong with you".Muhammad asked walking over to me.

"My baby's coming". I said squeezing the rail on the bed as Tati came back with the doctor behind her.

"Alright, it's time let's get you into the water".She said helping me up.

"Water f**k she getting in water for".Muhammad said with a confused look causing me to laugh.

"I'm with my Cuz on this one why she getting in water".Abdul said standing beside Tati.

"Don't worry about it just stand there and be quiet".Tati said helping me get into the water they had warming up.

"So dad you getting in".The doctor said looking over at Muhammad.

"Me Nah I'm not the father".He said raising his hands up backing up.

"Ma'am he's lying nigga get in the water".Abdul said motioning his head in the direction of me as I leaned back in the water.

"I ain't getting in that water G".He said shaking his head.

"Man get in the water".Abdul said laughing because anybody could see that he was getting To Muhammad.

"Aww come on dad don't you want to grab the baby when it comes out".The doctor said looking over her shoulder at him.

"Maaaaan Ight Damn y'all pressuring a nigga and s**t".He said taking off his shirt then pants leaving him in some shorts.

"I see you, Ari".Tati said causing me to glare at her.

"Ready to begin".She asked looking over at me.

"Yes".I said nodding my head.

"Open your legs".She said tapping my legs so I opened them.

"Come on dad get beside me".She said tapping the water and Muhammad slide closer to her.

"Damn".He said looking down causing everybody to look at him.

"What".I asked looking at everybody.

"Umm, can we get started please".Ari said grabbing my hand.

"Alright on the count of three, I want you to push".She said and Ari nodded.

"One...two...three".she said and Ari started pushing while almost breaking my f*****g hand.

"Okay again".She said and Ari started pushing again.

"Alright, you're doing good I have the head on your next big contraction".She said grabbing my arm making me switch places with her.

"Aw, Nah Yo Hell no".I said trying to stand up but Abdul held me down by my shoulders.

"Nah cuz catch yo baby".He said laughing.

"I'm gone get yo ass back for this nigga believe that".I said shaking my head.

"Alright, dad hold your hands out like this and Ari you push".She said demonstrating how I need to hold my hands.

Holding my hands out like she said Ari pushes and not even seconds later I see the baby come out and I grab it lifting it out of the water.

"You want to cut the umbilical cord daddy".The doctor asks handing me the scissors and showed me where to cut.

"It's a boy".She said and then they took the baby from me and started cleaning his nose out.

"Don't bath him keep the vernix caseosa on him".Ari said looking over at the nurses.

"What the f**k is a vernix casesosa".Abdul asked with a confused look s**t I want to know too.

"The vernix Caseosa is the white stuff that's on the baby right now it helps keep the skin healthy and no problem mama but I'm gonna need you to push again".She said causing me to look at her crazily.

"She having another one".I asked in panic causing all the women in the room to laugh.

"No, it's to get the placenta out".She said leaving me and Abdul lost asf once again.

"Ion know none of this s**t y'all talking about".He said shaking his head.

"s**t me either but can I get out of the water its blood and s**t in here".I said looking down at it.

"Yea and it's a shower down the hall".She said pointing out the door as I got out grabbing my clothes and walking to the shower.

Birth is no f*****g joke I think I'll wait a while before I have another one. And it was nice that Muhammad actually got in the water with me.

"Damn He kinda looks like Cuzzo a Lil bit".Abdul said peeking over to look at the baby as I held him.

"Nigga don't disrespect my god baby like that".Tati said slapping the back of his head.

"s**t I'm just saying".He said mugging her causing me to laugh.

"Let me hold my stanka man".Tati said walking overreaching her arms out.

"Here you gone be hogging my baby all the time".I said handing him to her rolling my eyes playfully.

"Girl boo you know what it is ain't that right Tete fat man".She said rocking him.

"You got that right he is fat as f**k".Abdul said causing me to laugh cause it's true.

"My baby just chubby".I said rubbing his cheek just as Muhammad walked back in.

"Yo nigga when you going to go check on SuSu".Abdul asked as Muhammad sat in his previous spot.

"Man I brought her ass here didn't I, I did enough she knows her mama number".He said staring at the baby.

"What you naming him".He asked sitting back into the chair.

"Yosohn Santana Fletcher".I Said smiling looking over at him.

"Yosohn never heard of it I f**k with it".He said nodding his head in approval.

"You saying it like you had a choice in what his name was gone be".I said laughing.

"Right".Tati said taking a seat on the couch.

"Man shut yo fat head ass up and after all the s**t I just did I better have a say so in something".He said causing us all to laugh as he shook his head.

"Let me hold him".He said holding his hands out.

"Here make sure you hold his head".She said standing up and placing yosohn in his arms.

"This Lil nigga look just like to ugly ass".He said looking down at him.

"I know you f*****g lying I look good".I said mugging him.

"When they releasing you".He asked.

"They have to run some test and then we can go".I said and the doctor walked in.

"Okay mommy what's his name gonna be".She asked holding the clipboard.

"Yosohn Santana Fletcher".Muhammad said speaking before I could.

"Nice name daddy, so are you breastfeeding or the bottle".She asked writing on the clipboard.

"She breastfeeding".Muhammad said she nodded and started writing again.

"Why you keep answering for me".I asked mugging him.

"I'm just saying s**t you gone say anyway".He said with a shrug.

"Okay, we're going to show you how to change the baby and how to breastfeed him".She said placing the clipboard down.

"Yo Ari we'll be back tomorrow love you sissy".Tati said kissing my forehead before they walked out.

"Okay let's get started".She said washing her hands
