JASPER: When Dr. Tina and I stepped out of my private suite together, she turned to face me. Her expression was cold as she asked, "Jasper, are you really in love with that human? You know that it’s against the pack to fall in love with a human or mate with a human." She looked at me angrily. Her eyes were cold, as if I had betrayed her—as if she suspected that I was the one who had slept with Martha. "Tina, for goodness’ sake, whoever I have feelings for has nothing to do with you," I replied calmly, but she frowned. "You are wasting your time with her. She is not your mate. A human cannot be allowed into the pack. That’s a suicide mission. So if you love her, I advise that you let go of her now and move on with your life!"
