Once they got to the convenience store, they stood under the small shade that was there, panting heavily.
"Well, that was unexpected." Zoey giggled.
Jake looked at her with a smile on his face. He had heard her laugh before but seeing her giggle was just the most beautiful thing.
But he surely wouldn't admit that.

"Yea, it was." He said quietly while he watched Zoey try to wipe the water on her clothes.
"Should we go in and get umbrellas?" Jake asked as he looked at the dark sky.

"Can we wait a little bit?" Zoey asked him with pleading eyes.
"Sure." Jake said melting into her eyes.
