BLAZE This is f*****g suicide. I gasped, quickening my pace to grab Ashton’s arm, desperate to stop him from whatever reckless move he was about to make. But he was too fast. He dodged my grip effortlessly, and before I knew it, I was slammed against the wall, his arm pinning me there with an almost predatory calmness. “You good?” Ashton asked, his voice dark, cool, and annoyingly smug. “Do I look good?” I hissed, stepping closer, not caring about the strength holding me in place. “We’re following some stranger into a deathtrap, and you’re treating it like a damn walk in the park.
