LUTHER  I see him before he sees me. Blaze. He’s outside, leaning against the wall beside the entrance, arms crossed, body tense, eyes locked on the door like he’s been standing there for a while. Like he’s been waiting. I don’t slow down. I don’t slow down because I am so f*****g tired tonight, and the last thing I need is another damn problem. My head aches, my shoulders are tight, and my wolf is pacing beneath my skin, restless, pulling, unsettled. I’ve been ignoring it for hours. Ignoring everything. Because that’s what I do.
