Lena was silent, shocked again by Dominic's statement.
As Dominic was about to turn away, Lena held onto his arm.
“Does Sir Doctor really love me? What about Ms. Daisy in the Doctor's heart?”
Dominic stopped walking and turned back to face her. Lena struggled to swallow. Isn't it natural for her to doubt? Even some women, whom Lena thought were better than her in every way, still lost to Daisy, even though she had long disappeared from Dominic's life.
