Something was wrong.
Something was very, very wrong.
I'd gone to Jessica simply planning to spend time with my girlfriend. My queen. My angel. My goddess. I went there to make her happy.
The last thing I expected or wanted to see was her sitting there with tears in her eyes. And I certainly never expected her to react so … so violently when I tried to ask her what had happened to make her so upset.
