ALLEGRA Point Of View
I smiled to myself, knowing that it was her. I circled the chair where she was sitting for a while before coming to a halt in front of her.
"Why were you at the soldier's dedication?" I questioned her.
She didn't say anything. Just like you had anticipated. I was aware that it would not be simple to extract the words from her. She would prefer not to reveal the words.
I gave one of the guards a raised eyebrow. He moved in her direction and smacked her. She lowered her face and put both hands on her cheek.
