Lucius POV
I was sitting in my office, minding my own business, when I heard outside noise. At first, I didn't want to give it any thought. However, my office door quickly swung open. I sprang to my feet as my pulse skipped a beat.
One of my guards was there. It eased my heart a bit to see him. "The Wildfire pack's alpha is outside," he told me, panting heavily. "He is demanding your presence."I smiled. He must have realized what his persistence had cost him. I informed him, "I will be there in a minute," and he bowed before leaving the office.
I let out a deep breath while holding my chest. It still amazes me how afraid I was a while back, believing the rogues had assaulted us once again. With disappointment that Harrison wasn't home, I left my workplace. Asking Harrison
