ALLEGRA Point Of View
I tried to shut my eyes while lying in bed, but I couldn't. The groans weren't the reason this time. I kept my eyes fixed on Lucius's bed.
His absence was keenly felt by me. It seemed as if I was the only player on the wide-open field, competing against myself in the absence of other people. Until I slept off, I turned the bed over and again.
I sprang out of bed abruptly, realizing it was nearly dawn. It was another nightmare for me. I had assumed that the nightmare had ended because it was the same as the ones I had been experiencing.
