ALLEGRA Point Of View
I sat with my head lying on my back on my bed. I could not get Lucius's mother out of my head. I did not doubt that I had previously seen her.
I recognized her face, even if at the moment I couldn't place it precisely where I'd seen her. I closed my eyes, feeling the event from yesterday replaying itself in my mind.
I recalled how the air was filled with her rich voice. She was an elderly lady with great vigor but little build. The only thing that indicated she was older was that her hair was gray. It seemed as if she was younger.
Her spouse seemed older than her, despite her excellent physical appearance. He was big for his height, had a pot belly and was overweight. Ava was like her father, while Lucius was like his mother.
