Maya grabbed May's arm, her eyes shining with excitement. "Oh my god, May, we're so close to the stage! I can see the drummer's sweat dripping!" May rolled her eyes good-naturedly. "You're such a groupie." Maya grinned. "Hey, someone's got to represent the fandom!" She held up her phone, snapping photos and videos of the concert. "I'm getting so much great content for i********:" Maya chuckled. "You're going to break the internet with your fan girling." Maya winked. "That's the plan!" She turned back to the stage, singing along to the music at the top of her lungs. As the concert went on, May found herself getting caught up in the energy of the crowd. She sang along with Maya, danced to the music, and even threw her hands up in the air when the band played their hit single. But as the night wore on, May began to feel a little overwhelmed. The crowd was getting rowdier, the music was getting louder, and Maya was getting more and more enthusiastic. Just when May thought she was going to lose her hearing, Maya grabbed her arm again. "May, oh my god, look! It's Jamie!" She pointed to the side of the stage, where Jamie was standing with his camera, snapping photos of the band. May's heart skipped a beat. She hadn't known Jamie was going to be at the concert. She felt a flutter in her chest as she waved at him, trying to play it cool. Jamie grinned and waved back, his eyes shining with excitement. May felt a spark of electricity run through her body, and she knew she was in trouble. As the concert came to a close, May and Maya made their way out of the venue, ears ringing and voices hoarse. Maya was still bouncing with energy, but May was feeling a little more subdued. As they walked, May couldn't help but think about Jamie. Maya noticed May's distraction. "Hey, what's up? You're not still thinking about Jamie, are you?" May blushed. "Maybe." Maya grinned mischievously. "I knew it! You two are meant to be!" May rolled her eyes. "Maya, stop shipping us." But as they walked off into the night, May couldn't help but wonder if maybe, just maybe, Maya was right. 'But what could he have been doing at the concert too' she thought. Was he probably stalking? Nahhh! lame one, "he even barely knows me" As they walked away from the concert venue, Maya suddenly stopped and turned to May. "Wait, I need to post about this concert on i********:!" Maya exclaimed, pulling out her phone. May rolled her eyes good-naturedly. "You and your social media obsession." Maya grinned. "Hey, someone's got to document our amazing night!" She started typing away on her phone, her thumbs flying across the screen. May leaned against a nearby street lamp, watching as Maya expertly crafted her i********: post. Maya was a social media guru, with thousands of followers hanging on her every word. As Maya posted her update, May couldn't help but feel a little amused. Maya's caption read: "Just left the most EPIC concert with my bestie @alexchen!! The band was and the crowd was lit #concertvibes #bestnightever" May chuckled. "You're such a dork." Maya grinned. "Hey, someone's got to keep our followers entertained!" She tucked her phone away and linked her arm through May's. "Now, let's get some late-night eats. I'm starving!" "May! look, 100+ views in barely 10 minutes is just wild OMGggg!!" " they're a popular band you know" Maya dragged May to a nearby diner, a retro-style eatery that was open 24/7. The diner was a favorite among locals, and Maya knew the owner, a friendly woman named Rachel. As they slid into a booth, Rachel came over to greet them. "Hey, girls! What can I get for you tonight?" Maya grinned. "We'll take two orders of fries, two milkshakes, and two burgers, please." Rachel laughed. "You girls are going to eat me out of business!" She winked and took their order. As they waited for their food, Maya pulled out her phone again. "I need to post about our amazing diner experience!" She started snapping photos of the retro decor and the food. May rolled her eyes. "You're going to make me famous on social media, aren't you?" Maya grinned mischievously. "Maybe." Their food arrived, and they dug in, savoring the greasy goodness of the diner's burgers and fries. As they ate, Maya started telling May about her latest social media scheme. "I'm thinking of starting a YouTube channel," Maya said, her eyes shining with excitement. "I can do vlogs, tutorials, and product reviews." May raised an eyebrow. "You're going to be a YouTube star?" Maya nodded. "Why not? I'm already a social media influencer. This is just the next step." May smiled. "You're crazy, Maya. But I love it." As they finished their meal and prepared to leave, Maya turned to May with a serious expression. "Hey, can I ask you something?" May nodded. "What is it?" Maya hesitated. "Do you think I'm too obsessed with social media?" May thought for a moment before responding. "I think you're passionate about it, and that's okay. But maybe sometimes you need to take a step back and remember what's real." Maya nodded, looking thoughtful. "You're right. Thanks, May." As they left the diner and walked into the night, May felt grateful for her friend Maya. She might be a social media freak, but she was also kind, loyal, and true.
