Then they stopped the second I appeared which was always a great sign.
“What now?” I asked and Marisol groaned.
“Notjhing.” Marisol said.
That answered told me everything. I looked toward one of the women.
“What are we talking about?” I asked.
Nobody answered but then Kiki’s replacement finally spoke.
“It’s just weird.” She sid.
“Try again.” I said crossing my arms.
“People keep getting hurt after you showed up.” She said as the woman shifted nervously.
There was silence after that. Then the realization hit. No, surely not. Marisol closed her eyes.
Yep, definitely that. So the woman continued.
“The warehouse exploded.” She said.
“Seriously?” I asked staring at her.
“Then Crash died.” She said.
“And?” I asked staring harder.
