The sound echoed like thunder and the attacker collapsed instantly as everyone else froze. Another shot followed and a second man dropped before he even realized what happened. The remaining attackers scattered desperately. “Sniper.” Someone yelled. A third rifle shot echoed across the concrete and the shooter beside the sedan spun backward before crashing through the driver’s side window. Silence followed after that. It was heavy, confusing and terrifying. The surviving attacker abandoned the fight immediately and they dragged their wounded toward the remaining car before speeding down the exit ramp without looking back. I stood breathing hard while searching every rooftop surrounding the garage and a familiar voice reached my radio. “You hurt?” Saint asked. “You here?”
