ASHER’S POV The moon hung low in the sky, casting an eerie silver glow over the Moon Room. The air was alive with the scent of damp earth and decayed dead bodies. It was like every usual night in the small town of Raven’s Peak. But for me, this is a night of reckoning. I’ve been waiting for this moment for weeks now. I stood right in the center of the Moon Room, in the exact same spot I stood during my trial day three years ago. It still feels like yesterday, the shock on their faces when I revealed my alpha mark, the screams of the victims as I choked the life out of them. Ethan and my Father!
