Natalie stood in the middle of her apartment, her suitcase lying open on the bed. The place was exactly as she had left it that morning, nothing appeared to be out of place, yet she couldn't shake the feeling that it no longer belonged to her.
Logan's security team had already searched every room before allowing her inside. They had confirmed someone had entered the apartment, but whoever it was had been careful enough to leave almost no trace. That fact unsettled her more than if the place had been ransacked.
It meant the intruder had been looking for something specific.
