Liam's POV___

Urgh...

I groaned in pain. where am I?

I opened my eyes to meet with darkness surrounding me.

this is not my room. what the f**k.

why am I laying on the ground?

I try to sit up, I roam my gaze adjusting to the darkness.

my eyes widen when I saw a metal bar door.

no way, this can't be.

I am in a cellar. I stand up instantly only to groan in pain. my neck and jaw hurt badly.

then I remembered Elora, we were at the ballroom then I followed her out and stopped her but then that man came and separated me from her.

who the hell was that man and why I am locked in the cellar.

I make my way toward the metal door when I heard two far guards whispering something. I near to my cellar door to hear what they are saying.

"you are joking, right? how is that possible she can't be Prince Caspian's mate? she is mare human."

one guard whispered.

"I am not joking, the maid who was serving yesterday at Red moon ball told me. she saw herself when Prince Caspian announced Princess Elora his mate and when everyone questioned how he can have a human mate you can't believe what happened."

"what? tell me, cut the suspense."

"she is not human, she is Fae. yes everyone saw when she transformed. Princess Elora was Fae all along no one knew in the castle."

my eyes widen at their words.

bloody hell women.

how she managed to keep that secret from everyone?

But why I am here?

wait, was that man from the hallway was Prince Caspian?

a chill crept into my body at that thought. if what I am thinking is true then I am going to die.

I still remembered the look on his face, he was f*****g livid. I have to get help from someone.

"Hey, is anyone there?"

I call out for someone. I know guards are there but still, I asked.

one guard came in front of my cellar with a bored look on his face.

"what you want?"

he hisses at me.

I frown at his tone. how dare he talk to me like that?

"Watch your tone. don't you know who you are talking to?"

I growled at him.

but he was not a bit affected by my outburst instead he chuckled at me.

"Yeah, I know who exactly you are. you are just a prisoner who is going to die today. and if you are thinking that you will get away with what you did yesterday only because you were the next second in command of the Fae kingdom then you are still dreaming."

he snickered at me.

my blood boils at his words, but before I can say anything two Royal guards from Dragon kingdom came with chains in their hands.

"open the door."

one guard instructed. Fae guard immediately obeyed.

once the door is open the second guard came in and started to chain my hands and feet.

"what the hell do you think you are doing?"

I asked them trying to get out of their grip.

without answering my question he stretched his hand out for the first guard. he gave a little glass bottle to him.

I was about to ask him what was that but he grabs my jaw forcefully and emptied the small bottles contains in my mouth he didn't let go of me till I swallow the whole thing.

I cough at the bitter test in my mouth.

I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out.

I tried again but still nothing. I started to panic I cough to try to make out any voice but still nothing.

the guard next to me smirk and dragged me out of the cellar.

second time in my life I am feeling this helpless. the first time was after I rejected Elora as my mate. I tried. I tried so much to not think about her. I never wanted someone like Elora, a weakling as my mate that's why I rejected her without batting an eye but then when I saw her the next day in Ingrid's room I lost it.

I was too engrossed in my thoughts that I didn't notice when we came into the Throne room. my eyes quickly landed on her. Elora. she is...she is looking different. I squinted my eyes to take a better look at her indeed she is Elora but a better version of herself. she is looking beautiful. maybe it is because of the clothes. I never saw her wearing a dress. she would always wear that baggy sweatshirt and jeans. why I didn't notice her beauty before. she is the most beautiful girl I have ever laid my eyes on.

I was too distracted by her that I didn't realize when we stopped in front of the throne on which the Dragon king and the queen are seated.

the guard on my left pushed me to my knees.

I wanted to say something but again nothing came out.

King asked Elora what my punishment should be. my gaze never leaves her face.

"I think executing him in front of all royals would be the best punishment. no one would ever think to do such a thing next time."

the man next to Elora growled. his eyes fixed on me frown on his face. then I noticed his hand around Elora's waist. I wanted to growl at him to take his hand off of her. she is mine but nothing came out of my mouth. I can't speak.

"I understand what you are feeling Prince Caspian but I would like to hear it from Princess Elora. do you want to give him a death sentence princess Elora?"

Queen scarlet asked Elora.

and it appears the man next to her is Prince Caspian.

the words of that Fae guard rang in my head.

"Prince Caspian announced Princess Elora his mate "

Now everyone's eyes are focused on Elora. I can hear my heartbeat in the silence.

she would never want me dead. I am sure of that. I was her mate whether I accept her or not she can't bear to see me die.

and she proves me right when she says the next word.

"No"

Flora replied. I was happy that she doesn't want me to die even after all the things I have done to her.

"well then tell us what should be his punishment?"

King Riordan asks.

now I am curious what she will answer.

"I want Liam white to be banished from Fae Castle and the supernatural world."

everyone's eyes widen at her words.

I was surprised she would go to that extent to punish me. I was furious. I tried to tell her she can't do that to me but again nothing came out. I sigh in frustration.

"Liam white is banished from the supernatural world. no one is allowed to have any contact with him. he should live on his own in the human world as one without taking any help from his family or anyone from our world. whoever will try to help him will get punished severely."

King Riordan announced his final decision and the royal guards dragged me out of the throne room.

they took me to my room.

"pack whatever you want to pack, you have 4 hours to say goodbye to your family and friends. we will come back exactly after four hours."

with that saying they left me in front of my room.

I am still not able to speak.

first time in my life I am feeling this helpless.

I enter my room and sat on the bed sagging my shoulders and placing my head in my hand.

after few minutes the door of my room slammed open revealing angry Reagan. he strode towards me and grab me by my cooler before I can do anything.

I try to say something but my words didn't sound proper to my ears.

my vice is coming back but I don't have any time to be happy about that because the next thing I know is a fist land on my face.

I groan in pain.

"you f*****g bastard how dare you to touch Elora?"

he growled at me.

So she told her.

"I am a sorry man I didn't know what I was doing back then."

I managed to say in between his punches.

he stopped to glare at me.

"can I talk to her? she can't do this to me. where am I supposed to go? "

I hoped he will help me because we are best friends but I was so wrong.

"well serves you right? you deserve this. you dared to reject her and now you think I will help you? you, who should have been her savior turned into the biggest nightmare."

I sigh in frustration.

"look man I am sorry I didn't know what is best for me. I regret my decision of rejecting her..."

I was cut off by Reagan's chuckle.

"it's too late for that Liam. you lost her the moment you rejected her. but I want to thank you for doing that."

I looked at him confused.

"If you wouldn't have rejected her she wouldn't be with the best man now. she deserves better than you and she found that."

I gritted my teeth at his words.

I was about to tell him that he was wrong but we were interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Prince Reagan, his highness Prince Caspian has requested your presence."

Royal guard from dragon kingdom informed Reagan.

"I'll be there in a few."

Reagan replied.

"don't show me your face again."

With that, he left the room.

seeing that there is no other option left for me I started to pack my bags.

I pack all the documents and money which I will need in the human world.

I was placed my bags at the foot of the bed when a knock was heard from the door.

I checked the time and saw there are still two hours left.

groaning to myself I groaned in annoys but still opened the door.

I have already talked to my parents so they can't be at the door so whi is it now?

when I opened the door I was surprised to see Ingrid standing there.

"what do you want?"

without answering my question she walks past me in my room.

"what were you thinking when you do that?"

she hissed at me.

I arch my brows at her questioning what she is talking about.

" don't act innocent now. you know exactly what I am saying. just because I broke off with you, you go after that bitch."

she screeched at me.

"shut up you slut. you are no one to tell me what to do."

I growled back.

" I am the princess if you are forgetting."

I checked at her. now I am so sure I must have hit my head when I choose this wore instead of my true mate.

"It was all because of you. I shouldn't have dated you. Elora is way better than you. it's not a surprise that Caspian didn't choose you as his mate."

she shrieks at my word and marched towards me but I dodge her in time and she landed on her knees.

"you wait and see what I do. I will kill that wore and then Caspian will choose me."

my blood boiled at her words.

"I will kill you if you try to harm her."

I growled.

"Why do you care."

"because she is my mate. she supposed to be with me and she will. I was a fool to reject her to be with you but now I know better. you are nothing in front of her. I will make her mine."

I retired back but regret the next second when I came to my senses. I shouldn't have told her that.

"I see you are ready to go young man."

an unfamiliar voice spoke. I turn to see Vampire king is standing at the door of my room.

what is he doing here?

I quickly step away from Ingrid.

he came in and locked the door behind him.

"King Lucian, any special reason for the visit?"

I asked him.

"yes. I heard you rejected Princess Elora."

so he heard our conversation. I curse under my breath.

he continued when I didn't respond to him.

"don't worry I won't tell anyone. I am here to help both of you."

I narrowed my eyes at him.

"what help?"

I asked him.

"well, I will help both of you to get your mates. I will help you, Liam to get princess Elora back and Ingrid to get Caspian as her mate."

"but?"

I asked him. he can't be here helping us without any catch. he must be expecting in return.

"you have to work for me."

he started simply.

"what work?"

Ingrid asked him this time.

"not much just normal work where Ingrid you have to give me some information from the Fae castle and since liam you are banned from our world you can't do much but I can shelter you in my kingdom in return you will have to do the work I will tell you without question."

"you will help me get Elora back, right?"

I asked him.

"yes"

he replied. and I nodded at him.

"Good decision, now princess Ingrid what have you decided?"

he asked her.

"Why should I help. you? I can make Caspian mine without your help."

she shot back.

King Lucian smirk at her.

"Are you sure princess you can do it? because last I checked your mother was dethroned from Queen position and your father is soon going to step down from the king's position. then whi will help you? as per my information, the next king is your brother Reagan and he will never help you to act against his precious sister Elora."

he is right. Reagan has and will go against everyone even his family for Elora. he loves her so much.

Ingrid didn't say anything after that.

"don't worry you can think about my offer and get back to me till evening four."

he told her.

"And you liam, my men will pick you up where the guards of dragon kingdom will drop you in human land."

I nodded at him.

"thank you"

he nodded and walk out without another word.

Ingrid left right after him.

I sat on my bed last time waiting for royal guards to come and get me.

I know Elora will forgive me, after all, I am her first true mate. I don't know why that prince is claiming her as his mate but I will find out. she will come back to me.

she has to.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when two guards match into my room.

I followed them out of the castle and enter the car which will take me out of the Fae kingdom's territory.

the car drove out of the gate when I saw four cars passing beside us. in one car I saw Reagan with Alpha James and in the car behind theirs sat Prince Caspian holding Elora in his Embrace.

my hands balled in a fist to control my anger.

my eyes locked with Him and then I saw the smirk on his lips.

I am so going to enjoy wiping thank smirk out of his lips.
