8. Royal Drama

Elora's POV___

Reagan takes a long stride to reach me faster and separates me from Prince Caspian.

he didn't give me any chance to say before to take a stance between us protectively.

he stands in front of me blocking my view.

Prince Caspian won't like it. he didn't know Reagan is my brother.

"gate away from her"

Reagan growled at Prince Caspian. I have to warn Reg he cant talk to Prince like that, he is disrespecting him. I heard this situation will get worse.

"no, Reagan wait. he's not..."

before I can finish my sentence Reg has pulled away from me in a swift motion.

Prince Caspian has thrown him away from me.

"NO"

I yell in pure horror.

but he didn't listen to me and pulled Reg off of the floor and curled his fingers around his neck. checking him.

I rushed towards them

"Prince Caspian, please leave him,"

he growled at me

"he tried to take you away from me"

he growled while tightening his hold around Reagan's neck.

I try to separate them by pulling Prince Caspian's hand off of Reg

but he's so strong he didn't budge at all. I used my fairy powers but to no avail. it's like I am an ant trying to move a giant elephant.

"he won't take me away from you, he's my brother please release him please"

I pleaded with him

he looked at me his eyes softening as my words process in his head

"he's your brother?"

he asked me to confirm if what he heard is right.

I nod eagerly in agreement

he released his grip from Reg immediately.

I sigh in relief.

I rushed towards Reg to check if he is okay.

he coughs multiple times but then he looks at me and started to check if I am okay.

"Are you okay El, why did you leave the table? I told you not to go anywhere. I thought Liam did something to you. "

he fires question after question in my direction, before I can answer his questions someone pulled me into their embrace.

I know who the person is when sparks explode wherever he touched me.

"and who are you?"

he asked Prince Caspian

"show some respect, Prince Reagan, this is his highness, Prince Caspian"

Alpha James warns Reg. I cringe at his tone, he sounded harsh.

Reagan's eyes widen in shock at Alpha James world.

He hurriedly gets back to his feet and bows in respect

"Please accept my apologies for disrespect, Your majesty"

Prince Reagan tighten his grip around me

"It's just because your my mate's brother I am accepting your apology but there won't be next time for you to apologize"

Prince Caspian warns Reg.

I sigh in relief but then it hit me he just called me his mate in front of Reg and Alpha James.

"I am sorry your Highness but did you just say your mate?"

Reg asked in disbelief.

"Congratulations Prince Caspian and princess Elora"

Alpha James congratulates us. I don't know how to respond. I am still wearing my mind around the fact that I have found my second chance mate and he is none other than Prince Caspian.

Reg was dumbfounded, his gaze at the unconscious Liam and then I wrapped in Prince Caspian's arms.

"How is that possible, El you told me Liam is your mate"

he pointed at Liam confused. oh s**t, why did he have to mention him now? I totally forgot about Liam being my mate or you can say ex-mate.

Prince Caspian growled again I am just exhausted by this growling and explaining series but I have to explain this situation before someone gets killed by furious Dragon Prince.

"Liam was my mate Reg, remember he rejected me the instant he found out that I was his mate? and then I was human, but now I have my fae powers so I can sense my mate and here Prince Caspian is my mate"

I explained to all three of them motioning toward me and Prince Caspian

I can sense how livid Prince Caspian is

but why he is angry now, what should I do to calm him down?

I scoff at my thoughts

I just met him and I am already worried about him

I turn around in his arms to place my band on his chest to comfort him but he was so furious

"Lock him in prison and no one is allowed to meet him till I say. I will decide what his punishment will be."

he ordered Alpha James

I looked at him confused

"you don't have to, he didn't do anything..."

I trailed off when I saw his sharp gaze at me

"he first rejected you if that was not enough he tried to molest you, do you still think that is not enough to punish him"

"it's not the first time he did anyway so it's not a big deal. he won't be able to do it again though"

I muttered to myself but then regretted it when I saw the reaction on all three men's faces.

shit why I have to say that now, I placed a hand on my mouth wide-eyed.

"what do you mean this is not the first time?"

Prince Caspian enquired in a very low but dreadful voice.

"Answer El, what do you mean by that?"

Reagan demands

"Calm down both of you, give her time to explain it's not easy to let out I guess"

Alpha James explained to both of them, I was thankful to Alpha James to knock some sense into their heads.

I looked down to hide my tears. I am at loss for words. from where should I begin, am I even ready to tell them. but if I didn't do it now, then I won't be able to do it ever. so I beneath deeply and tell them

"he...he started to come in my room to beat me and say hurtful things after rejecting me. I just don't tell anyone because I know no one will trust me and help me."

Reg came closer to me to comfort but Prince Caspian didn't allow him, Reg retraces his steps in defeat.

"Why didn't you tell me then, you know I will help you no matter what. you should have told me. I am feeling so useless that I didn't even notice this"

I shake my head at that. I don't want him to blame himself for the thing he didn't know.

"it's not your fault Reg, You didn't know anything"

before he can say anything else we saw two royal guards approaching us but they are not from the fae kingdom.

I narrowed my eyes at their uniform

"they are from Dragon kingdom"

Prince Caspian whispered to me

they bowed before Prince and then retrieve unconscious Liam from our sight.

I don't know what to think about Liam's situation right now.

"Her Highness queen Scarlet is waiting for you prince Caspian, you think we should head inside and announce this good news to everyone. "

Alpha James informed Prince Caspian then I remembered why I ran out of that ballroom in the first place.

Vampire king, Lucian's word rang in my head

"you are coming with me to my kingdom tomorrow where we will get married next month"

I can't go in there

I don't want to be a prisoner again

"Yes, let's go mon will be so happy to know that I found my mate."

they started to head in the direction of double doors to enter the Ballroom but I stayed rooted on my spot unable to move.

"what happened princess? "

Prince Caspian asked me

"I can't go in there"

I mumbled

"no no I can't, I don't want to marry him. I dont. she will make me marry him. I have to leave. Reg please help get out of here I can't marry him. "

they all look at each other confused

now I didn't know what I am talking about, I can't process my own words

The next thing I know is I was wrapped in Prince Caspian arms

he started to soothe me by stroking my ears and whispering to me to calm down.

his touch helps me to calm down a bit I am unable to think straight. my mind is so messed up by thinking all the possibilities about what will happen if I am forced to marry that guy.

" I think we should sit somewhere where we will have some privacy"

Alpha James Suggested

Reg nodded at him and lead the way to the opposite direction of the ballroom

we shortly reach the empty guest room.

Prince Caspian help me sit on the couch then he sat next to me stroking my hands to calm me down. .Reg pure my glass of water.

I gulp down every drop of it giddily

Prince Caspian wipe my tear-stained cheeks

I didn't know I was crying until he did that.

"Can you tell me why don't you want to go into the ballroom princess Elora?"

Alpha James asked me

I took deep breaths and then look at Reg.

he encouraged me to tell them with his eyes.

"When you leave me there in the ballroom Jing Lucian approached me to dance with him. I accepted his offer because I wanted to get away from Liam's reach. King Lucian told me that he was the one who sent those vampires to kidnap me and I will have to go to his kingdom with him tomorrow to marry him."

I summarised what happened before I git out of there.

all three of them growled at the same time.

Prince Caspian stood abruptly and was about to head out of the room when Alpha James stopped him.

"I think there is more in this story ist it Princess Elora?"

he started while looking at me.

I looked around nervous

"Tell us El, what is it?"

Reg asked me.

I bute my bottom lip how am I going to tell him about his mother?

"King Lucian told me...he told me that no one can stop him by marrying me because Angeline has fixed my marriage with him and Father has also agreed."

I tell Reg sobbing.

"what?"

Reg exclaimed.

"I can't believe she's doing this, why she hates you so much."

Reg started to pace back and forth in the room.

Prince Caspian strokes my hair to calm me down.

"calm down prince Reagan"

prince Caspian said

I looked at him and he stroke my cheeks affectionately

I blush at his action

"Princess Elora is my mate and no one can take her away from me."

I can hear the finality in his declaration.

"Aloha James you know what you have to do right?"

Aloha James nodded in agreement

I am curious what they are talking about.

"Now princess listens to me carefully, you will go in there with prince Reagan and act normal with everything Fae Queen tells you to do."

my eyes widen at that. is he telling me that he won't do anything to save me from Vampire king and Angeline?

"Trust me I won't let them do anything to you and you won't go anywhere with anyone. just do what I say okay?"

I nodded at him reluctantly

"same goes to you prince Reagan your mother should not know that you know about their arrangement."

Reg nodded in approval.

Angelina's POV___

I make my way to the Dragon queen Scarlet.

I bowed in front of her in respect.

"I hope the arrangements are up to your liking her highness "

she smiled at me with a node

"yes, yes. dont worry about that. well, I called you to share important news with you."

she continued with a broad smile

"Alpha James just mind-linked me that Caspian has found his mate and she is a fae princess..."

I cut her off with my gasp

"oh my God I am so happy, we should announce this news"

she nodded at me

"once Caspian is here you can make an announcement"

I nodded in agreement and make my way to the Xavier

I can't find Ingrid, where is she. she must be with the Prince I can't believe this my Ingrid is going to be Dragon Queen.

but before I can share the news with Xavier Lucian stopped me midway.

"who is Caspians mate?"

I scoff at him, of course, he was hearing us

"my daughter Ingrid, who else?"

he narrowed his eyes at me

"but she didn't mention the name, she just told you that his mate is a Fae princess that can be Elora also."

"are you out of your mind, that Elora who don't even have Fae powers she will be Dragon Queen, you must have lost your mind.

she is just a pathetic human who can't even defend herself and you are telling me she will be Queen."

I scoff at him.

"Okay then announce my engagement with Elora before you announcing that Princess Ingrid is going to be Dragon queen after all Elora is the elder princess."

I looked at him suspiciously but then I give it a thought, he has a point if we announce Elora's engagement first then no one will question me being unfair to her.

"okay"

I node at him and then head directly towards Xavier.

"Xavier Dragon prince Caspian and Vampire king Lucian found their mate"

he looked at me and nodded to continue

"Dragon Prince Caspian's mate is Ingrid"

his face lit up with the smile

"that's great, where is Ingrid? but wait she's not 18 yet how she can find her mate?"

"she didn't know but Prince Caspian sensed mate bond. I haven't seen them but Queen scarlet told me that Prince Caspian found his mate and she is Fae princess "

I gushed to him

he nodded at my response

"And king Lucian's mate is Elora"

his eyes widen at my statement. I know they are not mates but I have to make something up for everyone to believe

"what are you talking about? who told you?"

"King Lucian told me just now"

"but that's not possible you know Elora is human she can't sense mate..."

"but King Lucian can, and he told me he is sure Elora is his mate. "

he looked doubtful.

"why would king Lucian lie about that, it's not like Elora is some Fae Princess with powers she is mare human. if he is saying that she is his mate then I don't think he has any reason to lie about it. he won't gain from it anyway"

I know this will work

I still don't know why Lucian is head over heels for that pathetic human but never mind

"you are right, maybe I am thinking too much"

I smirk inwardly.
