He is not Ordinary!

Elda looked at the door to see Elvie and Mana, and immediately controlled her rage. She brought her aura under control, which gave Lee a much needed break.   By this time, most of the crowd had left as they were frightened by Elda's rage. The ones remaining also left once Mana and Elvie showed up because they knew that the show is over. As the last of the guests left, Lee could spot Souza near the duo. He was standing there with a relieved look.   Lee understood that Souza left to bring back Mana and Elvie. He would have almost thanked him if not for the fact that the whole mess started because of him.   'Do you know that he was Mana's friend? Why did you attack him?' asked an angry Elvie.   Elda had a guilty look and meekly answered, 'He didn't pay.’ She also added, ‘Souza brought him and I thought he was another troublemaker.'   Elvie was not convinced but she also knew about Souza's reputation, so she didn't push Elda further. She simply asked her to apologize for her actions.   'I am sorry' replied Elda with a hint of anger.   'No worries, it was partially my fault too. I am sorry' replied Lee.   He then looked at Mana and asked, 'Mana, could you lend me 180 pesos so that I could pay for the drinks?'   Mana nodded and immediately gave 180 pesos to Elda. Both Elda and Elvie refused to accept it but they had to relent because of Mana's insistence.   After exchanging some courtesies, both Mana and Lee left the bar to go to the inn. Souza also left as he didn't want to linger near the bar. As everyone left, Elvie flipped the sign on the door and sat near the counter while Elda was busy cleaning up the mess.   'What were you thinking? You know how serious it could have been if we were a second late, right' asked an angry Elvie.   Elda nodded as she knew she could have been in serious trouble if she had gone through with her attack. She could have lost everything that she had built till now.   'You have to let go of your past Elda. If you don't, this might happen again' stated Elvie.   .............................................   Lee and Mana were walking down the road towards the inn.   'Are you able to walk? You look like you were bombarded by a vehicle' asked Mana with some concern.   'Yeah, I can. The pain is also less now but I think I do need some medicine to recover fully' replied Lee.   Mana said 'Don't worry, we can get some at the inn. And also, I am sorry for not thinking about giving you some money. It totally slipped my mind.'   Lee waved his hand to say that he understood. He knew that it was partly his fault too. They both took a few steps in silence when Mana asked again 'I heard that you were able to dodge Elda's punches and even hit her'   'Yeah, but I don't think I would have survived that last slap' said Lee in an embarrassed manner.   'Actually, this in itself is a feat. Elda has only become this serious with a handful of people as far as I know. You were able to bring out her overwhelming aura' commented Mana.   'Wow! Is she that strong?' asked Lee.   'She is the first commander of the troops and she was trained by Sheila herself. There is also the rumor that she has fought with Sheila often. So, she is actually powerful'   'Wow! Did she leave the troops because of some reason?'   'When Sheila turned and started murdering people, Elda was also with her and she became a monster because of her overwhelming fighting spirit. Due to an incident, she saw the monster inside her and planned to kill herself. It was Elvie who brought her back and made her atone by serving the slum dwellers'   'Oh! It seems she has a history' murmured Lee, he then wondered aloud 'Ah! If only I had known that I would have stayed down after the first hit.'   Mana who was following him couldn't help but laugh at his thought.   Lee and Mana reached the inn, and since both of them were exhausted, they hit the beds early.   .....................................................................   After Elda finished cleaning up the bar, both she and Elvie started to go home. As soon as they stepped outside, they were greeted by Gin.   'Hi commander, how's it going?' asked Gin sarcastically.   'It's going good Gin, what brings you to a small dingy bar like Bees?' countered Elda.   'Hmm, I wanted a drink. I like the drinks at your bar, commander'   'Gin, it's been a long day for me. Can we skip your jabs and be direct?' asked Elda in an annoyed tone.   'OK... OK... I heard an interesting rumor right now. It seems someone made you unleash your aura. He should've been very tough to make you do that, so can you introduce him to me?'   'Where did you hear this stupid rumor? Oh Gin, you are still a kid, aren’t you? Still believing everything you hear' replied Elda calmly.   'So, you are saying nothing happened at your bar.'   'There was a fight and I played with a prey but that aura nonsense was bullshit'   'Hmm... Can you introduce me to your opponent? I really want to meet him'   'I don't remember every f*****g nomad who walks up to my bar. If you don't have anything else, we are leaving', said Elda and started to walk past Gin.   As Elda and Elvie passed her, Gin asked, 'So, Elvie. I heard your dear friend has returned. Can you ask her to meet me?'   'Really! Is Mana back. Can you ask her to meet me too if you see her' answered Elvie and they both started walking towards their home.   Gin stood there with a defeated look.   As Elvie and Elda neared their home, she asked a question that plagued her mind from the evening, 'By the way, I was wondering why you released your aura. Was he powerful?' She then added, 'But Mana told that he was an ordinary companion.'   'He wasn't particularly powerful' Elda replied as she recalled the fight, 'but he is also not weak. It was as if he evolved during the fight.’ She then concluded by stating, ‘All I could say for sure is that he is not normal. A normal person cannot fight like him.'   Elvie agreed and stated, 'Hmm... There seems to be some secret there. I wonder what they both are hiding. There is also the fact that the scheming Gin is here.'   'Who is this Mr. Lee?' Elvie wondered aloud.
